Torontonians ordered the most edibles in Canada on Uber this year. Here’s the other top cravings people had

It seems Torontonians love their gummies! Uber says Toronto was the top city when it came to the most cannabis edible orders this year across the country. 

On Thursday, Uber Eats Canada released its 2023 Cravings Report and it revealed some interesting findings from the most expensive takeout order to the most ordered snacks.

This year, the food delivery company decided to sprinkle in some festive spirit by including seasonal statistics in the report. For instance, the most popular last-minute food orders on Christmas Eve last year were milk, cookies and brownies. 

Meanwhile, when it comes to holiday drinks, Vancouver residents couldn’t get enough of their eggnog. In terms of alcoholic drinks, Canadians enjoyed ordering vodka, beer, and whisky the most this year.

Now, for food to go along with the drinks, Canadians were ordering American, Japanese, Indian, Chinese and Italian the most. In fact, last month, a Toronto resident even took the top spot for the most expensive order with a bill of $1,729 from Gusto 101. They ordered 20 pizzas, 30 pastas and 71 appetizers in total.
