Keith Lee is all Toronto can talk about after hitting up seven food locations in the city for nearly a week now.

Some locations were a hit, while others didn’t go as planned.

The massive food critic recently set his sights on a Jamaican restaurant in Scarborough called #1 Jerk and shared an odd encounter his wife and partner in crime, Ronni, had with a staff member.

“The customer service my family said was extremely interesting,” Lee said in a video posted on Thursday that already has over 2.6 million views as of publication.

“The lady who took their order said it herself she was hungover and that she was kinda messing up on the order.”

This created a storm online of people upset over what Lee had to encounter.

“Keith Lee needs a Jamaican food redo, because what was that??” one X user wrote.

“I’m embarrassed that he went somewhere that he didn’t love,” someone else replied.

Other people genuinely wanted to know why an employee would admit to being hungover right before taking someone’s order or making their food.

Especially when the whole city is on high alert now that the biggest food reviewer on the internet is driving around town.

The restaurant responded after the worldwind and shared that it was also disappointed in what transpired.

“Wow Keith Lee came! Thank you so much for coming. I’m extremely sorry you had this experience,” the restaurant wrote in a story posted to Instagram.

“I had to watch my daughter’s dance comp and had to last minute get someone in because we couldn’t afford to close. Please next time you come visit us and I will personally serve you. You need to try our jerk chicken, stew chicken fried chicken and fish soup. Again apologize for your experience and we are beyond grateful you came.”

And sometimes in life you just have to laugh it off, and that’s exactly what owner Koi Chen did by making some hilarious videos in response.

He also took the time to ask Lee to come back and give them a second chance.
